My Intentions

As a Counsellor, Coach and Play Therapist working with neurodivergent families, I understand that ADHD in a family is more than an individual's condition; it is a shared journey that impacts every aspect of family life. My approach to supporting families with ADHD is deeply rooted in empathy, personalised strategies, and a comprehensive understanding of ADHD's multifaceted impact.

I believe in embracing a family-centric approach where every family member plays a vital role in the journey towards managing and embracing ADHD. My focus is not just on symptom management but on nurturing strengths, building resilience, and celebrating each unique achievement along the way.

I value the importance of diversity and prioritise nurturing all parents, as raising kiddos is a big task and often comes with uncertainty. Let's face it, kids don’t come with a manual, and having a supportive resource, such as the one I offer, is exactly what some parents need. Parents who are also neurodivergent have a different set of challenges and I am here to help you gain confidence and skills that will help make it easier.

Creating a supportive, nurturing, and non-judgmental space is at the heart of my practice. Here, families can share their experiences and challenges with ADHD in a safe and understanding environment. My role is to listen, guide, and support, fostering an atmosphere of trust and open communication.

My dedication to the field of ADHD extends beyond the counselling sessions. I am committed to ongoing learning and adaptation, ensuring that I bring the most current and effective strategies to help families not just cope, but thrive with ADHD.

As a parenting coach and counsellor, my goal is to partner with families in navigating the intricate and rewarding path of raising children with ADHD. Together, we will transform challenges into opportunities for growth, deeper understanding, and stronger familial bonds.

In this journey, you will find more than a coach or counsellor; you will find a committed partner dedicated to supporting your family every step of the way as you navigate the world of ADHD.
