My speciality:

Neuro-Spicy families are my speciality. With a background in childcare, I worked closely with families that had kiddos who struggled with behaviour challenges. These kiddos were either diagnosed with ADHD or AS and I would offer strategies to parents on how to navigate their behaviours. This became a parental coaching business which is now supported by my counselling and play therapy qualifications.

 

The beautiful thing is that the strategies used with neuro-spicy kiddos are also successful with neuro-typical kiddos as well so I find myself working with all families that have challenges with raising kids in this crazy world.

My Point of Difference

When working with families, it's not just the kids who need help and support in regulating their emotions and behaviour. Studies indicate that if a child has ADHD or ASD, there is a 50% chance that a parent does too. This factor is where my point of difference comes in. I work closely with parents to help them understand their own ADHD or ASD so they can navigate parenthood with better tools and awareness.
