Hello there,
My name is Katy Pryde and I’m a qualified Counsellor,
Parenting/Family Coach, and Child-Centred Play Therapist with over
three decades of experience supporting individuals, children, and families.
My journey has taken me from working as a childcare educator
and centre director to raising four children of my own—and
now, to walking alongside people through both the joyful and
challenging seasons of life. I’ve always been drawn to the
deeper story behind behaviour and emotion, and I specialise in
helping people better understand themselves and their
relationships.
My philosophy is simple: every person and every family has the
potential to grow, heal, and thrive when given the right support
in a safe and nurturing space.
I offer counselling and coaching for individuals facing a wide
range of personal, emotional, or life challenges, as well as
parenting support and play therapy for children. My approach
is warm, inclusive, and grounded in respect, empathy, and
unconditional positive regard.
I welcome people from all backgrounds and identities, and I’m
committed to creating a non-judgmental space
where you feel truly seen and supported.
Let’s chat.
Warmly,
Katy
